These are a few examples of emergencies that require immediate attention:

  • Difficulty breathing

  • Collapse

  • Seizures

  • Pale mucous membranes

  • Bleeding profusely

  • Suspected poisoning

  • Severe vomiting or bloody diarrhea

  • Snake bite

  • Hives that cause swelling of the eyes and face

  • Severe painful lameness

  • Inability to walk
